MEF Okulları Müzik ve Sahne Sanatları Bölümü müziği ve sahne sanatlarını yaşama katmak, öğrencilerimizin toplumsallaşma sürecinde etkin bir araç durumuna getirmek, sanatsal ve estetik beğeni düzeylerini geliştirmek ve evrensel değerlere sahip olmalarını sağlamak üzere olabildiğince işlevsel kılmaktır.

Öğrencilerimiz 1, 2 ve 3. sınıf düzeyinde müzik genel kültürü ve temel müzik bilgilerinden oluşan programla müzik eğitimi alırlar. Bu eğitimi geliştirmek ve ortaokulda uzmanlaşacağı müzik dalını belirlemek amacıyla 4. sınıfta branş eğitimine başlarlar. Öğrenciler her yıl yapılan kulak taramaları ve 3. sınıfın ikinci döneminde yapılan ayrıntılı branş tanıtımları sonucunda kendi yetenekleri doğrultusunda; Koro, Keman, Gitar, Çello, Perküsyon ve Bateri branşlarına yönlendirilirler. Her dönem sonunda yeniden değerlendirmeye alınarak eğitim aldıkları branşta sunum yaparlar. Öğrencilerimizin enstrüman gelişim süreçleri her dönem sonunda değerlendirilerek, başarı gösteren öğrenciler bir sonraki sınıfta enstrümanına daha ileri seviyeli bir eğitim planlamasıyla farklılaşmış eğitim alarak devam ederler.

Müzik derslerinde; öğrencilerimizin müziğe yönelik olumlu tutum sergilemelerini, müziği sevmelerini ve yaşamlarına katmalarını sağlamak ana hedefimizdir.

Bunun yanı sıra; Ulusal Marşımızı doğru ve güzel söylemeleri, müziğin temel kavramlarını öğrenmeleri, işitme ve ritim duygularını gelişimi, medeni cesaretini arttırmak, sanat estetiği ve müzik kültürü bilinci sağlamak… Kısacası sanatla beraber yaşayan bir birey olmalarını hedefliyoruz.

Öğrencilerimiz sene boyunca öğrendikleri müzik öğretilerini çeşitli törenler, konserler, öğle dinletileri vb etkinliklerle sahneye taşımaktadır.

Bölümümüz Çoksesli Koro, Keman, Ukulele, Gitar, Yaylı Orkestra, Beden Perküsyonu, Yaratıcı Müzik Teknolojileri, Modern Dans, Bale, Halk Oyunları ve Tiyatro etkinlik çalışmaları yapmaktadır.

MEF Schools Department of Music and Performing Arts aims to make music and performing arts as functional as possible to bring music and performing arts to life, to make it an effective tool in the socialization process of our students, to develop their artistic and aesthetic appreciation levels and to ensure that they have universal values.

Our students receive music education in grades 1, 2, and 3 with a program consisting of music general culture, and basic music knowledge. To improve this education and to determine the branch of music they will specialize in middle school, they start branch education in the 4th grade. Students are directed to Choir, Violin, Guitar, Guitar, Cello, Percussion, Percussion, and Drumming branches in line with their abilities as a result of the ear screenings conducted every year and the detailed branch introductions made in the second semester of the 3rd grade. At the end of each semester, they are re-evaluated and make a presentation in the branch they are trained in. The instrument development processes of our students are evaluated at the end of each semester, and students who show success continue their instrument in the next grade with more advanced education planning and differentiated education.

In music lessons, our main goal is to ensure that our students have a positive attitude towards music, love music, and incorporate it into their lives.

In addition to this; to sing our National Anthem correctly and beautifully, to learn the basic concepts of music, to develop their sense of hearing and rhythm, to increase their civil courage, to provide awareness of art aesthetics and music culture… In short, we aim for them to become individuals who live together with art.

Our students bring the music teachings they have learned throughout the year to the stage with various ceremonies, concerts, lunch concerts, etc.

Our department also offers Polyphonic Choir, Violin, Ukulele, Guitar, String Orchestra, Body Percussion, Creative Music Technologies, Modern Dance, Ballet, Folk Dances, and Drama.
